SIOS participated in this project by developing a hardware and software tool designed to meet monitoring needs, reporting and billing of nitrogen injection stations operations in oil wells.

The system is based on a proprietary application installed on an industrial-type PC which was mounted in the cabin of mobile Nitrogen Injection stations. Through the application, the station operator can generate and print on-site service reports, this streamlined the billing process significantly reducing the days delayed for collection.

The acquisition of the process variables (pressure, flow and cumulative consumption of N2) is carried out by means of a serial link (Modbus RTU) to the measuring instruments of  the stations.

In addition, the system is equipped with a cellular modem to allow the sending, by email, of the operation information and reports to the central distribution offices.
