Dough Temperature System

The DT System is designed to measure the temperature of dough as it exits mixing machines in the food industry.

Our client’s challenge was the complexity of measuring dough temperature inside the mixers: since the dough is in constant motion, the sensors were inaccurate. Operators had to take measurements and keep records manually, which introduced a margin of error.

System Description:

The operator takes a sample of the dough and measures its temperature using the RTD probe. The temperature is displayed on the panel screen and, once stabilized, the IoT controller sends the information to the SCADA system. This allows the team to determine whether the dough temperature is outside the established operating limits.
