 Dough Temperature System

The DT System was developed to accurately measure dough temperature at the outlet of mixing machines in food production environments.

The Challenge:

Our client needed a reliable way to measure dough temperature during mixing. Traditional sensors were ineffective due to constant movement of the dough, leading to imprecise readings. Operators had to rely on manual measurements and log data by hand, introducing variability and potential errors into the process.

How the System Works:

The operator collects a dough sample and measures its temperature using an RTD probe. The temperature reading is shown on the panel screen, and once stabilized, an IoT-enabled controller automatically sends the data to the SCADA system. This allows for monitoring if the dough temperature is outside the established operating limits.
